Kenyan national team Harambee stars is set to face Uganda Cranes this afternoon. The match which kicks off at 3pm Kenyan time will be played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos stadium. Harambee stars have been in camp since the international break started last weekend and are set to face their neighbors in a match that always creates excitement for the fans.
The team is being led by Tottenham Hotspurs’ midfielder Victor Wanyama who is already in the country. The match is also being broadcasted live on KBC while fans attending the game are required to pay 100 shillings for the terraces and 300 shillings for VIP.
The squad that has been chosen by head coach Stanley Okumbi is a strong one and is expected to win the friendly match. Harambee stars will also face DR Congo in another freindly match set for Sunday this week. DR Congo first team coach has said that this match will prepare them for their World Cup dream. Florent Ibenge says that they will take the match seriously on Sunday and have a good game.
The international friendly with Uganda Cranes comes after the two sides have met 76 times. If the Kenyan National team wins today they will make it 23 wins in 77 meetings with Uganda Cranes. We wish them a good game today, and hope they win.
