We are at the conclusion of yet another week, and as usual we take a look at the top stories of the week.

#M7CHALLENGE; WHO DID IT BEST?

The #M7Challenge is really taking the Twitterverse by storm as everybody want to mimic the Ugandan leader and take the epic picture. This photo of Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni, chatting on the phone while sitting on a chair on the side of a village road, has raised questions – such as whether the cowboy hat-wearing leader was pulling off a cheap publicity stunt or was dealing with urgent matters of national importance.

EVERYTHING YOU MISSED FROM MASAKU 7S

Like expected, most of the crowd moved to Machakos early Saturday morning. Traffic started getting congested from 11 am, but it was nothing compared to the previous traffic jam of the 2015 Masaku 7s. The stadium was scarce amidst the chilly cloudy weather with only a few spectators and many players when Varcity team got to the venue, Machakos stadium. The players however, went on with the business of the day.

Estelle, Britain’s most celebrated artist entertained revelers at Blankets and Wine event yesterday.The event which was held at Ngong Racecourse Waterfront grounds attracted alot of international attention as people from all walks of life attended the show.

NATIONAL LOTTERY LAUNCHED IN STYLE #ITSBIG

East Africa’s biggest ever national lottery was unveiled yesterday at the Nyayo National stadium with a star-studded line up of artistes both local and international. Performances included Tanzania’s King Ali Kiba sang hit songs like ‘Nagharamia’,’Nakshi Mrembo’,’Tcheketcha Tcheketcha’ just to name a few getting an encore for the song ‘Aje’.
