Police officers discovered a 1 acre piece of lthe Lavington bhang farm while responding to a totally unrelated incident; complaints from a person who claimed he had been denied access in to the compound to recover his steel metals. In total, 300 bhang plants were uprooted.
Neighbours said the caretaker of the 1 acre piece of land had been tasked to take care of it by its owner who is a Kenyan of Asian origin. He also plants food crops like maize and beans, but apparently he had found a more profitable use of the land.
Police also recovered half a kilo of bhang seeds which the care taker said were to be planted soon in the same farm. They also found a bag of NPK fertilizer suspected to be used for the Marijuana farming.
