President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday announced to the public of an upcoming curfew that is commencing tonight from 7p.m

Curfews have always been in the the country especially when insecurity of a certain area is under surveillance but this time round, we are all submerged due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is expected that all people will be indoors by 7 O’clock, something that is unusual for many Kenyans.

As it is a government directive, we have no choice but to obey the directives.Police officers will be roaming all the Kenyans streets to ensure everybody is locked in their houses.

Kenyans are allowed to buy whatever they need earlier before the curfew times commences.In case you are working on a night shift, you ought to arrive at your work place before 7 PM. This will prevent you from being arrested by the men in blue.

Hospitals will remain open during this hours. In case someone has an emergency you can still reach out to an ambulance and you will be rushed to the hospitals.

The measures that have been put in place will help facilitate in reducing the cases of Corona infection in the country. This move was introduced as a result of having ignorant Kenyans who are adamant at adhering to the directives given by the Ministry Of Health.

As we commence, curfews today, remember to stay safe by practicing hygienic measures stipulated. The 1 metre social distancing rule still applies in the midst of the curfew.
