Very many graduates were released to the employment world this previous week. Many have high expectations either because they have prospects, got First Class Honors/Magna Cum Laude which is probably what they think they need to make it in life. Wake up and smell the coffee. The journey has just began; graduating was only a stepping stone and not a destination.

1. Be realistic
Don’t send out your CV’s to different organizations and companies then seat back and wait for a call. Give yourself timelines. Don’t just mope around and expect to receive it all on a silver platter.
