A dream only becomes overrated when not pursued the dreamer. With many campuses having exams, here are some inspiring words for you this depressing Monday. Time and again, I often find myself having a hard time trying to study for an exam. My mind many times strays as the words on the book become Greek! Being in my early twenties I just like many of my peers have big visions, but how do you stay on course?

Below are some of the reasons that will help keep you on track and remember why you go to school at all!

1.  VISUALIZE ALL THE MONEY YOU ARE GONNA HAVE!

See it, feel it and hear it. We are doing it all for the Benjamins, well in our case, the Kenyatta’s.

  1. MAKE A LIST OF THE REASONS YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH THE GOAL

It’s always very easy to get blown off course. That’s why there is need to ground yourself on your goal. If you are studying law, just think of all the illegal stuff you will be able to do, since you WILL be the law!

  1. AVOID DERAILMENT

We all know these people. The derailers!! They are everywhere always with a hot plan and the perfect location. Well, at least for this exam weeks, avoid these people. Shetani ashindwe!

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to be successful is to try one more time.

4. GET THE MUCH NEEDED HELP (FROM A HOT TUTOR)

You see that hot mama or dude, well perfect opportunity to get a tutor. You will be surprised what a chopee you will become.

5. SWITCH OFF THAT PHONE

Your phone is one of the biggest distractions. There is always something going on there. From IG to FB, this little gadget controls everything! Well switch it off and hit the books.

6. ALWAYS HAVE A MWAKENYA

Yes, I know this is wrong, however, sometimes even writing a mwakenya helps you study! There was a time I spent all my time I was supposed to be studying writing a mwakenya. Because I was not brave enough to pull it out in the exam room, i knew the answers. Writing down points helps one studying and so why not kill two birds with one stone. You never know, maybe the lecturer will need to step out during the exam.

So any time you feel tired of studying or bored to hell and back, just use some of these pointers and you will be surprised to land an A!
