Kenyatta University students have already sent a memo, calling all students to join a demonstration on 7 key issues they would love to be addressed by the management.
The demonstration set to be on 7th October is expected to bring into notice the rights of comrades in the university. Some of the key issues they need addressed is fee policy in the university that has led to many students to call off their courses.
The rise of suspension of leaders who arise to bring forth the issues of students has also been lined up in the memo. The management seems to be attacking those who are standing for the right of comrades.
On issues to do with graduation, the comrades are dissatisfied with the hike of fees from 3500 to 6000 without giving students notice.
Here is a copy of the memo. You can read through and stay safe if you are planning to use the busy Thika road on 7th October 2019.
