The African Cup of Nation fixtures is out already. Egypt will be playing Zimbabwe in the first match. All 24 teams participating in the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt from June 21 to July 19 had announced their squads by Wednesday, with the exception of Mali.

AFCON 2019 will see Nigeria’ and 23 others jostle for a total prize money of $14.2m – Semi-finalists who square up in the third-place play-off will share $4m, with each getting $2m – The winners in the final will pockets $4.5m, with the runners-up getting $2.5m .

According to Goal report, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed in April 2019 that prize money totaling $14.2 million would be shared between the best eight teams at AFCON 2019 as prize money.
