AMVCA 2015; The Good, Bad and Ugly Looks Of The Night All Here.

(Last Updated On: March 12, 2015)
Africa Magic Viewers Awards (AMVCA) 2015 was this weekend and West Africa Actors and actresses dressed to kill for it. I think the mention of Red carpet just makes people put on their ‘A’ game.Some looks were a miss others a hit. Here is our breakdown of the good, bad and ugly of the AMVCA’s;

#1 Genevive Nnaji
This beauty looked great in a flowy, orange gown with a a no cleavage cut. She looked elegant and like she didn’t make an effort to look so good.

#2 Kehinde Bankole
She looked simple but lovely in a white zigzag patterned dress. The lucky winner had the dress accesorized with a long shimmery drape on her right shoulder. I think she looked simply amazing.

#3 Kate Henshaw
This is a babe who knows how to look glamorous in African print. Kate wore an Ankara gown that took her body like it was made for her.

#4 Toke Makinwa
The best of the lot!! Toke always has her game up. She was adorned in a Pastiche couture with a lacy, sheer top and plaited chiffon like bottom. On top of that it had a high slit to show off her flawless legs.

#5 Wale Ojo
Men always run away from colour but not Wale. He looked handsome in a purple tuxedo, black fitting trousers and shiny black shoes.

#6 Rita Dominic
African from head to toe. With this look I can’t help but say, ‘ I’m proudly African!! ‘ It’s hard to wear this attire without looking like you’re going for a wedding or occasion.

#1 Belinda Effah
From her look you could tell she was going for a unique look. Unfortunately her Medusa hairdo and that crazy top didn’t go together. If she’d have just done the hairdo she’d look okay or the top only I’d understand.

#2 Aduni
Did anyone say red carpet means Lingerie Party. This was not cool. She looks worse than Madonna in the Oscar 2015 though they seem to have had the same memo.

#3 Yaw

Yaw was a big yawn in his look. Shorts. Shorts. Shorts. I will never tire in saying that shorts are for boys. Men should never wear shorts or they end up looking like old men still attending primary school. That coat…yuck! the socks with official shoes even worse. Shorts are for sunny chilled days..the beach preferably but not an award ceremony.

#1 Yvonne Vixen Ekwere
The dress looked like it would look better on a prepubescent girl than a grown woman. Shaking my head. The bottom part of her dress is nothing but a mess. The hanging back drop makes her look like an attempting Superman.  All I can say is,’ You have a lot of growing up to do.’

#2 Denrele Edun
Oh my, here is my ultimate worst. Denrele tried a Gaga stunt with a bare back, see through flowy, laced dress on black, leather pants and ankle boots. Without even seeing the pic try picturing how that looks. It’s not coming, right? Well, the nightmare isn’t over he had a eye piece and a ban on his head with some accessories on his hand. Even if you wanna make a fashion statement Denrele that’s not how you do it.

#3 Susan Peters

This would have been a very good look it you lost that ugly fluffy scarf. You look like you’re wearing a curtain lace. Offence or not. It was an extreme miss!!

#4 Eku Edewor

Eku Edewor this is a huge disappointment. The Studio 53 presenter  looked a tad too overdressed you’d think she was trying to cover her skin. I mean if I saw her at night I’d think she’s a waffle cup in Coldstone. Girl, that’s not even a miss it’s just HORRIBLE!
