ARSENALArsenal FC booked a place in this seasons’ quarter finals of the FA cup with a pulsating 2-1 win over Liverpool at Emirates Stadium.

After a humiliating 5-1 loss to Liverpool last weekend at Etihad, Wenger’s boys decided it was payback time by scoring the first goal after 16th minute, thanks to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

In the early minutes of the second half, Lukas Podolski made it 2-0, making the Gunners even more confident of winning. However, Steven Gerrard scored one for the guests from the penalty shot after Luis Suarez was fouled in the 59th minute.

The stand-in goalkeeper, Lukasz Fabianski had a hard time keeping the Impatient Liverpool from scoring. However, it’s safe to say that the game was electrifying as it was spectacular. And it ended with a 2-1 win for Arsenal, man of the match being Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

As Arsenal critics would put it, Arsenal isn’t supposed to win like this. And Liverpool should wonder how they lost.
