Arsenal’s Woes

(Last Updated On: December 10, 2014)

Yesterday was match-day six in the Champions League and there was hardly any tension left for Borussia Dortmund. Beating RSC Anderlecht on Tuesday wasn’t just about sealing top spot in Group D, but carrying on the momentum from the Hoffenheim win.

The group arithmetic is simple: a draw was good for BVB to stay ahead of Arsenal unless the Gunners beat Galatasaray by a six-goal margin — which was out of reach as the Turkish team who had nothing left to play for only et four through.

This means Arsenal finish second and will face winners of another group after the draw. Arsenal are known to struggle in this stage as well as pull surprises and it would be good to place bets in hopes to win. It will interesting to see how far Arsenal go this season as they have always bowed out in this second stage of the Champions league. All fans who bet that Arsenal would beat Turkish side Galatasary went home with money.

Place your bets….at your own consent of course.
