Nigerian artistes Asa and Olamide have been confirmed as artistes who will be joining Tanzanian hearthrob Diamond Platnumz and Kenyan diva Victoria Kimani in the new season of Coke Studio Africa.
Olamide has performed on arguably the biggest stage in the Nigerian Music scene; “The Hip Hop World Awards” and has done collaborations with Wizkid, ID Cabasa, 9ice, Reminisce and D’banj.
He became the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with Cîroc, and also signed a multi-million Naira deal with Guinness.
While Asa, is known for her great live performances and has had the opportunity to work with or share the stage with both local and international greats such as Vivian Green, S.A hip hop heavyweight HHP, Ice Prince, Davido, Sauti Sol, Dela, Muthoni, Neema Ntalel, Harry Kimani, Kidum among many others.
The two will join a list of 20 more artists to be unveiled from across Africa.
Coke Studio Africa brings together artists from different genres, eras and regions to create a modern and authentic sound through musical fusion.
The purpose of Coke Studio is to reinvent the way music can capture the spirit of a nation, opening hearts and minds. It airs in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania & Nigeria.
