Nairobi former governor Evans Kidero’s Muthaiga home was on Thursday morning raided by Ethics and Anti-Corruption (EACC) detectives accompanied by Police Officers in search of some documents.
The officers are said to have spent the better of Thursday morning searching for money and documents in his home and later proceeded to his office in Westlands in what appears to be a move to gather more evidence for the graft cases that are facing the governor.
Kiera however came out to claim that whatever was going on was nothing but pure harassment of his rights and promised not to let the matter go. He questioned the motive of the arrest despite his appearance in court twice before yet the EACC had lacked the evidence to implicate so far.
Kidero was first arrested and questioned at Integrity house on August 8, 2018 before his son was also arrested for similar reasons the following day.
