The much awaited Valentine edition of Uani by Serro went down yesterday, Sunday 18th February, at Kileleshwa, the Varcity offices. The event begun at around 4pm where all the guests had already started mingling and getting to know each other which is one of the main purposes of the event.

The event which was attended by people within the age of bracket of 20 to 30 years had the strangers turned friends discuss matters that affect them at that point of their lives especially romantic relationships.

At around twenties one is usually trying to figure out who they are and what they want to be in life as well what they want to do in life and therefore it can be quite hard for some to maintain a strong relationship at the same time.

Bensoul and Serro Performances

After the discussion we had performances from the very talented singer Bensoul who seemed to be telling real life stories through his own composed songs which ranged from songs he wrote during his happy times during relationships to the very low moments after breaks up.

Then on stage took the creator of the event, Serro herself.

The crowd received her well as they sang along to the songs some which are covers that she was able to deliver very well without a struggle.

Food and refreshments were also available for those who needed more energy to dance a long with the acts of the day who seemed well prepared not to let their fans down.

I would say it was good way to end the week and I’m definitely looking to seeing what the team has in store for us in the future.
