Bhang Worth 3.5 Million Ksh Found in Naivasha, Female Suspect Escapes

Cops found bhang worth 3.5 million at Naivasha’s Kayole estate on Tuesday. The woman who is supposedly the main distributor, escaped around the town. The police are still hunting her down. Shes allegedly the main distributor in places like Gilgil and Mai Mahiu. The police were given a tip off by some of the residents in the area. They collected 11 sacks that were supposed to be for sale.

Naivasha Deputy OCPD John Kwasa said that cases of bhang in the area are rising.

“We understand she operates within some parts of Naivasha, Kiambu, and Nairobi. We are tracking her down,” he said.

Kwasa said that the woman has been in the business for quite a while. The police are currently tracking her down and want to also know her accomplices that helped her to peddle the bhang to major places.

Kwasa also said that they’re in an aim of curbing the usage of drugs and they want to make Kenya a drug free society. He told the residents around the area to cooperate in the search of the woman so that they could achieve the main aim of stopping drugs intake.
