Your favorite mobile game has just been bought off. Activision Blizzard has announced its intention to acquire Candy Crush Saga creator King Digital Entertainment in a deal valued at a hefty $5.9 billion.
The world of mobile gaming is already doing well for Activision as it already has popularity with online gaming Call of Duty and World of Warcraft franchises, among others.
Candy Crush’s most recent data claiming 474 million monthly active use is a clear reason why he was approached to this deal.
This deal is meant to have an amazing footprint, innovative technology, and leadership across platforms….to delight one of the largest networks of players according to King’s CEO, Riccardo Zacconi.
