CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BACK TONIGHT

170

The biggest football clubs competition is back tonight with two matches being played. The first match will see Arsenal take on Bayern Munich in the second leg of this year’s round of 16. In the first leg Arsenal were hammered 5 goals to 1 in Germany at the Allianz Arena. Bayern Munich have already travelled and will be gracing the Emirates stadium tonight to face Arsenal who are going through a rough patch right now. Arsenal lost to Liverpool over the weekend and their manager Arsene Wenger has come under fire recently.

There are rumors that the manager has had conflicts with some of his players including star player Alexis Sanchez, but he has come forth to deny them saying the press is just making it up to fill newspaper space. Sanchez was made to start from the bench in the game against Liverpool and it only brought speculations over the player’s future at the club. Most sports pundits in England have even said that he is bound to leave the club at the end of the current season.

The second match will see Napoli lock horns against defending champions Real Madrid in Italy. The first leg had Real Madrid coming from a goal down to secure a 3-1 victory over the Italians. Other matches will be played tomorrow night with the most eye catching being between Barcelona and PSG with the former having to overturn the 4 goals they were beaten by the latter. The final match of tomorrow night will see Borussia Dortmund take on Benfica.
