The students in the institution continue to boycott classes ordering the Vice Chancellor’s resignation. The Vice Chancellor Timothy Wachira is being accused of mismanagement of funds and poor leadership.
It’s alleged that the institution has been experiencing massive corruption and lack of transparency when it comes to the funds.
According to reports the school had established Sh 40Million that was to help establish a law school which to date has not admitted any students.
“The services that we are getting are very poor which are not per to the fees that we are paying, what we are paying for is way less than that which we are getting’’, Lamented one student.
All operations including those of learning in the university have been suspended till there is an amicable decision.
Unions including that of Daystar University Student’s Association have written to the university council to demand for comprehensive auditing.
