Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu survives the hook

The 5 bench judges has ruled that the documents obtained by D.C.I TO prosecute her were obtained illegally.

She cannot further be subjected to prosecution. Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu had quoted that her charges were politically instigated. She has survived the hook.

The criminal prosecution of DCJ Philomena Mwilu declared unconstitutional and unlawful and quashed. Judicial independence upheld. DPP applies for leave to appeal.
