Diamond and Flavour release New Video ‘Time to Party’ and it looks Familiar!

Nigerian star Flavour has once again joined forces with Tanzanian sensation Diamond Platinumz on what looks like yet another hit song titled, “Time to Party”.

Just like the title suggests, the song is a party song and of course a little bit of bragging now that both of the artists have got plenty of money. The song which is produced by Masterkraft, a frequent collaborator to Mr. Flavour, has both the Nigerian vibe and the dancehall vibe to it with the beat being somewhere in between the two genres.

Time to party shows us the level of chemistry between both of the artists and how much growth they have had since the last song they both hoped on. The chorus of the song comes from the “Sexy Rosey” hit maker himself and of course he did his thing, no complains on that.

Then came the star from Tanzania who I know for sure a lot of people including myself were watching for to see what he could on this one and he did not disappoint at all. Just like he did on his last Nigerian Collaboration with Patoranking, he keeps his voice in check, all vocals clear and even breaking with the beat shortly.

He shows us why all the Nigerian artists are currently dying for collabos with him. However, he kinda kept his verse quite short so I guess we can safely say it was short and sweet. Mr. Flavour then does over the rest of the song and generally it’s a really nice song that one can comfortably play over and over again.

When it came to the video, everything is almost perfect from the concept to the fine looking dancers and its clarity. My only problem is the concept is a straight copy and pasty of Chris Brown’s “New Flame”.

Both of the stars lastly worked on Diamond Platinumz hit single “Nana” in 2015 which was also another banger so maybe we should start getting more projects from these two amazing artists.
