Egerton University Closed as Students Strike (VIDEO)

Students at Egerton University, Njoro Campus have had their holidays extended as the university was closed indefinitely after students went on a rampage on Saturday. The students burned and destroyed property of unknown value, forcing the administration to close the Njoro, Nakuru and Nairobi campuses.

The students protested the administration’s move to lock out  students from sitting for the exams due through an online system where they are to get their exam card. The Students are complaining about the online system which they say does not reflect the correct details of some students.
