Eminem gets Credit for a New Word addition to the Oxford Dictionary

Eminem seems to be getting better and better after his latest appreciation by the Oxford English Dictionary. The word Stan has been added to the latest version of the Oxford dictionary and all credits has been given to the rapper. This word has been a regular in the Hip Hop world and its addition to the dictionary makes it even more popular in the world.

Stan was a hit track released by Eminem in 2000 featuring an British singer-songwriter Dido. This song was part of the Diamond-certified The Marshall Marthers LP from the Detroit-bred rapper in 2000 according to allhiphop.com.

Rappers all over the world use the word Stan to refer to an overly infatuated fan. The word has been added to the Oxford dictionary and described as an overzealous fan of a particular celebrity. It also went further to refer to the 2000 hit by Eminem giving the rapper credit for his work.

His performance of the song at the 2001 Grammys with Elton John is still considered one of the best presentations in the history of the awards.
