US President Barack Obama is expected to leave Washington DC on Thursday evening for his visit to Nairobi. Obama is set to jet into the country on Friday morning, multiple sources indicated, though the State Department has remained mum about the visit. He and President Uhuru Kenyatta will hold bilateral talks at State House, Nairobi and address a joint press conference on Saturday afternoon. The two leaders will co-host the 6th Global Entrepreneurship Summit at UN Gigiri and Obama will give an address at Safaricom Stadium Kasarani on Sunday.

Obama is also expected to give a public lecture at Kenyatta University, where Secret Service agents have been spotted, but the date and time have not yet been released.

A student who lives in the area spotted these men around USIU area this past weekend. Various students and excited as they plan what they would like to hear from the US President. Oliech, a KU student had this to say;

“As a distant cousin of mine, I am so excited that he will come to give a speech at our institution. I have cleared all my plans for this weekend in preparation for his wise words. It a good thing our new gate was completed and he will see just how good our university is”
