In this long awaited documentary, Chris Brown discussed, in detail, what happened between him and Rihanna! Many have waited years to find out what happened inside the car.

Apparently their relationship spiralled after Rihanna found out about a secret fling from Brown’s past.

“She hated me. After that, I tried everything. She didn’t care, she just didn’t trust me after that. From there, it just went downhill because it would be fights, it would be verbal fights, physical fights as well… I still love Rihanna, but I’m just going to be honest – we would fight each other, she would hit me, I would hit her, but it never was OK. It was always a point to where we talk about it like, “What the fuck are we doing?”‘

Surprisingly, this isn’t even the best part of the documentary.

He also touched on the Grammys incident (in which Brown hit Rihanna in a car after the event, resulting in the infamous pic of Rihanna’s bruised face).

“She starts going off, she throws the phone…’I hate you.’” She hits me a couple more times. I remember she tried to kick me, but then I really hit her, with a closed fist, I punched her. I busted her lip. “When I saw it, I was in shock. I was like, ‘Fuck’ why the hell did I hit her? From there she just spit in my face, spit blood in my face and it enraged me even more.””

While it’s clear Brown isn’t outwardly saying “it’s totally fine I hit Rihanna”, the issue that concerns women’s abuse charities is that he’s essentially victim-blaming.
