You may know rapper French Montana from hit songs like All The Way Up (ft. Remy Ma and Fat Joe) or Moses (ft. Chris Brown & Migos) or most recently Unforgettable (ft. Rae Sremmurd) from his latest album ‘Jungle Rules’. The rapper flew all the way out to Uganda to shoot the video for his latest hit song Unforgettable in which Triplet Ghetto Kids, who gained fame after appearing in Eddy Kenzo’s Sitya Loss music video, were featured.
Rapper French Montana partnered with singer The Weeknd & made a donation of 100,000 dollars (Ksh 10.2 million) while The Weeknd donated 77,000 dollars (Ksh 7.9 million) to Mama Hope Organization to put up the facility in the remote area of Suubi.
The centre is now in its last stages of construction. He has posted a video update on the building of the centre with the assistance of Mama Hope Organization which he captioned:
“WOW!! I love hip hop and the platform it gave me. Things like this make all the blood sweat and tears worth it. I really had to stop talking and take action. Still amazed at the process! I can’t take all the credit shout out to Mama_Hope @glblctzn and my brother @theweeknd and the beautiful people of Uganda.”
This comes after the Ghetto Triplet Kids accompanied French Montana to the 2017 BET Awards in Los Angeles where they performed with him on stage.
