Gor Mahia beats AFC Leopards In Mashemeji Derby

The much awaited derby in KPL was yesterday’s match. Gor Mahia was playing against their long time competitor AFC Leopards. All the teams were prepared to win the much anticipated match.

The derby was quite hilarious since the two teams managed to bring all their fans together. Most of the time, their games used to end in chaos but this time round the two teams had peaceful co-existence.

The derby was brought together President Uhuru Kenyatta, Hon. Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi to witness the two competitive teams. They both supported their teams. ODM leader was supporting Gor Mahia as Mudavadi supported AFC Leopards.

Kasarani Stadium was full to capacity in the derby. Gor Mahia and AFC kept their defense so strong and didn’t give each other a room for scoring . There was a likelihood of them drawing something that Gor Mahia wasn’t ready for.

The two super fans enjoyed the play as Gor won the match. Boniface Omondi scored for Gor Mahia the only goal in the match making them move to 54 points hence leading the premier league.
