Harry Kane was the start of the match last night as he scored 4 goals to send Tottenham clear in second place. Tottenham beat last season’s champions Leicester City and are now assured of finishing second ahead of the English Premier League finale this coming Sunday.
Harry Kane was at his devastating best last night at the King Power stadium as they thrashed Leicester City 6-1. Kane who was crowned last season’s top scorer might also be on the way of winning the same title this year. He started this game needing two goals to equal this season’s leading scorer Everton’s Romelu Lukaku who stood at 24 goals. Luck was on his side and he bagged 4 goals to send his tally to 26 goals for this season.
Leicester City could not hold back the slickness of Tottenham Hotspurs who have shown all season they can be damaging. The rout started in the 25th minute when Harry Kane scored from close range after being laid up by Son Heung-min. There was still more to come and the former champions had little to show for last season’s heroics.
Son Heung-min scored two goals to add on Harry Kane’s four and send Tottenham cruising on 6 goals. Leicester did score through Chilwell but it did not do them any favors. The game finally ended 6-1 in favor of second placed Tottenham. Harry Kane leads the top scorers chart with 26 goals two ahead of Romelu Lukaku with both still to play a final game on Sunday.
