HELB to diplay loan defaulters to the public dormain

The Higher Education Loan Board has decided to let their debtors know their next move. They have communicated to the public through a memo, their next move of sharing the pictures of those who have faile to pay their loans since 1975.

A question that lingers in the mind of many loan defaulters is how will they survive the public outcry that awaits them. One thing that can be attributed in their next cause of action is that they have failed to understand the loan defaulters.

Majority of the loan defaulters are struggling with life leave alone a job. The move to share pictures will not bring back money to the institution. What they need to do is to create employment to those loan defaulters and agree on payment rather than doing what they have planned.

Beneficiaries who are not servicing their loans are advised to :

1. Get in touch with HELB via [email protected] for particulars of their loan accounts any other inquiry.

2. Loan status may be confirmed via the loanee portal on the website www.helb.co.ke; USSD Code *642# of HELB App through Google playstore.

3. Loan Repayment options are available online on https://helb.co.ke/repay-loan/

Here is the notice that will be published by HELB on Tuesday, November 19 by HELB:
