Some horrific Instagram stories by user Bett Wahome (@bett_wahome) went viral and shocked many as they painted the sad reality of the world we live in. I

In the stories, many users especially varsity students narrate how their unprotected sex exploits have resulted in the infection of HIV/AIDS.

Various universities were mentioned including Moi university and JKUAT. The posts included details of house parties where people exchange sexual partners.

Others narrated stories of how they are infected with HIV and will sleep with people without protection if they do not insist.

Others even used it as a tool to teach their partners a lesson if they cheat on them.

Here are the posts below;

These posts have left many shocked and very concerned. There are 184,719 HIV positive youth (15-24 years) and this age group accounts for 17,667 of the total new infections, and 2,830 HIV-related deaths.

With numbers like this, the youth should be more careful with who they are sleeping with. If not, at least use condoms.

Have you heard of such cases in your campus? If so, tell us below.
