Nyege Nyege is an international music and cultural festival and features artists from across the globe organized by Talent Africa.
Nyege Nyege hoasts of over 200 artists and DJs who entertain the revelers night and day for four days back-to-back.
This year’s event was the fourth edition and was held from Thursday 5th up to Sunday 8th.
Evidently, The Bell Jamz stage at Nyege Nyege was the favorite stage for Kenyans following a series of Kenyan local songs played during the DJ Sets, the vibe it is creating is irresistible.
The stage was graced by people of different calibres especially those who were finding it hard to blend into Boutiq Electronic and the deejaying style of Music on other stages.
However, Kenyans could not cease to show their presence when the DJ took to Gengeton at the Bell Jamz stage.
As the DJ continued to play various number from Uganda and Kenya, the mood was euphoric when the music took to old Kenyan vibes that when the Kenyans heard playback music by Ochungulo family, Ethic and The Kansoul they stormed the stage and danced to their knees.
The 2019 Nyege Nyege Festival has attracted revellers from all over the world, including the East African region. Groups of people from different countries are seen holding their national flags while enjoying the festival.
Some Kenyans used the popular phrase Wamlambez to identify their compatriots in a foreign land as they entered the festival in groups.
However, this year prices of different products at Nyege Nyege Festival were a little bit hiked up contrary to the affordability that guys expected but accommodation inside the event and around Jinja was fairly affordable.
