Huawei has been launching new sleek products into the market and on 15th January they set up a few products in Kenyatta University to build awareness on them.
The purpose of this activation was to draw students to Garden City mall on Thika road where more of their products are on sale. They set base near the university’s Amphitheatre with a tent, a number of phones on display and a bit of music to draw the students’ attention.
The Huawei tent drew many students’ eyes as they would stop to find out how they could win the fabulous give aways Huawei had in store for them and also to know more about the gadgets. The give-aways included branded Huawei T-shirts, water bottles (which most of the students badly wanted to win) and Bluetooth speakers.
The DJ kept them engaged and asked them to dance to win a prize. During the activation we were also able to find out how much the students from Kenyatta University knew about Huawei phones and their general opinion of the brand.
The Huawei Activation was successful as students from Kenyatta University were able to interact with the Huawei as a brand and even managed to buy Huawei Smartphones.
