Interior CS Fred Matiangi orders for the closure of bars for two days from 5 pm as Census commences

As the country prepares for the counting of the Kenyans, the CS of interior security now announces to all bars to remain shut from 5 pm for two days ahead of the process. This will facilitate for the efficiency of the process.

The CS has cautioned the police to ensure they patrol in all the areas having bars to ensure the directives are well observed. As this news comes along, all people who visit bars should also be aware of the new directives or else they may be arrested.

The news may not augur well with the people who love consuming alcohol after a long day. All eyes are now checking on the census days as many were also opposing the night count but the government has assured security.
