The much hyped and anticipated Terminal Music weekend is finally here and all the guests we had been promised are already in the country.
The artists who include the one and only Big Shaq, UK duo WSTRN, Bobby Valentino, Horace Brown and Keri Hilson had a media briefing yesterday where they answered a number of questions from journalists.
Among the questions were what they thought about the Kenyan food to which many confessed they hadn’t yet had a chance to taste. Asked about any possible collaborations with Kenyan artists, many seemed open to it but you know it’s one thing to say yes but another thing to get it done.
However we have artists like Habida who is also one of the event organizers, Shukid and Steph Kapella who are closely working with the artists so we hope they will be able to make something out of it.
Terminal Music Weekend will be an annual event which according to Habida is meant to bring people from all parts of the world together musically.
The event was also created in an effort to give a platform to Kenyan artists who working hard in the different genres they do but end up getting looked down upon.
Some of the Kenyan artists expected to perform at the event include Habida, Steph Kapella, Shukid and Khaligraph Jones. The event begins today and ends on Sunday at the KICC.
