The Jazz industry is mourning the death of a legend Oliver Mtukudzi who died yesterday afternoon.
This is according to the state-owned daily Herald and privately-owned NewsDay who reported the sad news on their websites.
The late legend had been battling with Diabetes that led to his sudden death but he has left a legacy in the jazz music industry with 67 albums.
Oliver is a Zimbabwean musician, business man and also a human rights activist. He is commonly known as Tuku.
Tuku was considered to have been Zimbabwe’s most renowned and internationally recognised cultural icon of all time.
The late legend was born on September 22, 1952 and has passed on in 23rd January, 2019.
