Videos should be sexy, the kind of sexy that makes you want to hit the gym abit more often. The kind of sexy that makes you proud of dating a swimsuit model. As long as you have the body, why not flaunt it if it makes you feel awesome.
Her new movie ‘The Boy Next Door’ is set for release anytime soon, and now she goes topless for a magazine cover where she comes to the defense of her new look. The February/March issue shows the 45 year old singer and actor wearing a low cut one-piece which is sure to get her lots of attention.J Lo has now opened up about the down-side of choosing such racy roles at her age – namely, her critics.
The 45 year old opens up in the February/March issue of Complex Magazine. Jennifer sports a long-sleeved white bodysuit, featuring a plunging V-cut design, for the magazine’s cover. Jennifer was candid with the magazine, first speaking about her divorces and how they have made her see herself as ‘a brave warrior princess who keeps going no matter what.’
Then she spoke about the criticism she receives for dressing and performing a certain way, after having six-year-old twins Max and Emme. She asks;
‘I’m not allowed to be sexy because I’m a mom? It’s like, how do you think I got my children?’
The ‘Booty’ singer admitted that she wouldn’t want to embarrass her kids with her actions onstage, but that what she does at home is more important.
‘But at the end of the day, they care more about me being there, taking care of them, than if I’m sexy in a video,’ she shared.‘And I’m not saying that one day they may not be like, “Mom! Why did you do that?! But I don’t think that in 10 years I’m going to be doing that either.’
That being said, the brunette beauty had no apologies for her risque performance with Iggy Azalea for their single, Booty. Jennifer Lopez says;
‘It’s a good message for women. I’m standing next to this girl who is 24 years old and I’m in my 40s and there’s no difference. Women need to see that and feel that. You can’t let the fear of what people might say or think stop you from doing what you want to do or else we would never do anything.’
