Journalist Hussein Mohammed receives a standing ovation.

When Citizen’s TV journalist Hussein Mohammed broke the news of his exit from the media after working 10 years in Citizen TV, many awaited the day.

When he finally did his last bulletin on Tuesday, he was bombarded with messages of encouragement and appreciation from the people he has met in his journalistic works.

The messages were quite overwhelming from the African Union Infrastructure Representative Hon. Raila Odinga zeroing down to members of parliament and cabinet secretaries from all political representation in the country.

From the commendations and encouragements, one would describe Hussein as a hero. He has been one man who has kept his profession to the top. Some reminisces about his interviewing prowess that kept leaders on check.
