Kenyan National soccer team kicked off the regional CECAFA tournament on a high note by overcoming fellow favorites Uganda Cranes in Ethiopia on Sunday
And there is general belief among football fans and players alike the current crop of players in the national team can successfully defend CECAFA title.
Kenya started the regional tourney showing grit and intent and now it’s obvious Bobby Williamson’s charges are capable of standing any challenge against them all the way to the final.
The squad is good in terms of talent and experienced in the tournament having lifted it last year. That is however not enough to win a competition be it big or small.
Despite a disappointing end to their world cup campaign after a shambolic display against the Cape Verde National team, Harambee stars are putting their woes behind them and with the right focus and tactics the title will be back in the country again this year.
