Fifteen postgraduate students at the University of Nairobi have received scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service. The DAAD scholarships were awarded to 14 masters and one PhD student in German Studies at the University of Nairobi. Five of the beneficiaries are Kenyans, the rest are from Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan, Ghana, Cameroon, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
German Ambassador to Kenya Andreas Peschke yesterday said UoN and DAAD have a partnership to promote academic excellence for 40 years. Peschke said each year, DAAD scholarships provide financial support to 120,000 students.
So it is possible to do all you can and have your dreams validated, believe in the dream.
