President Uhuru Kenyatta has already realesed the statics of the Kenyan population that were conducted during the 2019 Census. He has appreciated the use of technology that captured data across the country.
“This year’s census was a first of its kind, I’m proud to note that the mobile devises used were assembled by our local universities,” President Kenyatta rekindled.
From the findings of the Census there are 23,6 million Kenyan male against 24 million female in the country. The number looks good and the ratio is quite hilarious.
The total male population was established to be 23, 548, 056 while the female population stands at 24, 014, 716.
The total number of intersex people, who were for the first time accounted for in the national census, stands at 1,564.
From the census, Kenya’s population has increased by about 10 million from the 2009 census when the population stood at 37.7 million people.
Nairobi county’s population was 4, 394, 073 making it the most populous county.
Nairobi was followed by Kiambu, Nakuru, Kakagema and Bungoma counties.
The list populous counties are Lamu, Isiolo, Samburu, Tana River and Taita Taveta.
