Maasai Mara University Students Land In Trouble For Baking Weed Cakes

Police in Narok arrested two Maasai mara University students who were caught `baking’ weed cakes.

The two who have been identifies as Richard Omondi 25 pursuing Diploma in Tourism Wildlife and Elizabeth Abayo 23 pursuing Computer Science.

The arrest comes after  the residents complained of the suspicious activity taking place in the institution. The students were found baking 56 weed cakes and had planned on selling them for Ksh.100 each.

Narok CCO Zachary Kariuki was quick to note that the weed cakes are usually sold to unsuspecting students and residents who are slowly lured into the business.

The two suspects are awaiting charge in court this week.
