Manchester United will tonight take on Chelsea after the two were paired in an FA quarter final clash. The two heavy weights will face off with Chelsea having an upper hand as they have no players on the injury list. Man United have all of their strikers injured with Zlatan Ibrahimovic being suspended for the match. Ibrahimovic got suspended by the FA and is starting his three match ban today. Jose Mourinho who is the Man United manger has expressed his concern on tonight’s game. He had earlier planned to field Wayne Rooney, Marcus Rashforrd and Anthony Martial as his strikers tonight but all three of them have injuries keeping them out.

Rooney collided with Phil Jones in training while Rahsford and Martial are both out with illnesses. According to The Guardian Mourinho does not see today’s game as of so much importance to United’s season. Man United are still 6th in the English Premier League and 17 points behind league leaders Chelsea. Mourinho also says that they have played well since the last time they were beaten at Chelsea. United have lost only two games in all competitions as they remain unbeaten in the league.

Antonio Conte has remained quiet on the game and has only prepared his Chelsea team for a good result tonight. Jose Mourinho has stressed that the only competition that could salvage their season is winning the Europa League which will guarantee them Champions League football next season. Man United are looking to secure the Europa League as they see it as a through way to being in Europe’s topflight next season.

The match will be played at the Stamford Bridge and it is the last ground that Man United lost a league game. Mourinho is set to push Henrikh Mkhitaryan forward and play Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba and Juan Mata behind him due to lack of strikers. The game will start at 10:45pm Kenyan time.
