#MCM UoN Students Quartet, Halisi the Band, Bring Dholuo To Life

The afro-fusion band took me by surprise with the release of their new single “Thumora”.

Halisi the Band which consists of Austine Okore, Luckey Meysoi, Frank Odongo and Alvin Leting glide through the song which expresses their love for music in the Dholuo and Swahili language.

The instrumentals add a special African touch especially at the climax, leaving any listener thrilled and impressed by their wit.

The members of the band who are also students of The University of Nairobi prove that Kenyan musicians can be authentic as well as entertaining. This serves as an inspiration to any student looking to have a career in music.

Be sure watch their lyric video below and download Thumora on mdundo.com.
