Nakuru based Kenya Medical Training College has been shut down indefinitely after it was rocked by violent protests.  Property worth millions of shillings is said to have been destroyed by the rampaging students leading the administration to dismiss all students.

The students are accusing the administration of high-handedness and poor facilities and services at the institution.

Area Police Boss Mr. Hassan Barua confirmed the incidents, saying several students suspected to have lead the rampage have been arrested and will be arraigned in court.

The institution’s Principal William Bii is said to have held a a meeting with the management at the campus in a bid to get to the root cause of the issue and ways of resolving it.
