Perenna Kei Hoi-ting has been declared the world’s youngest billionaire by Forbes magazine in its annual ranking of the world’s billionaires, displacing Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz.
The 24-year-old Hong-Konger, who is also known by the name Ji Peili, studied finance in London, has an estimated net worth of $1.3 billion and holds 85 per cent of Logan Property, of which her father Ji Haipeng is the chairman and chief executive.
However, little else is known about her because everything other than her bank balance is a total mystery. She described as “secretive,” which is probably a very sensible thing for a young person in her position. In fact, there are no known photos of her anywhere, and Forbes had to put a silhouette instead of her picture.
She is one of 42 new female billionaires on the list and one of 45 billionaires from Hong Kong. Microsoft founder Bill Gates is back at the top of the list and is estimated to be worth $76 billion.
