The blame game between the student leaders and the administration is on a high as they try to point fingers at each other. The school administration accused the students of hooliganism while the students blamed the administration for financial mismanagement.

The standoff has attracted political leaders near the school as they try to calm down the two groups.

However former education assistant minister Kilemi Mwiria went on to support the students in sight of suggesting the removal of the vice chancellor. Nepotism in hiring the university staff was on the rise and this lead to the misuse of the school financial resources.

The area Mp John Mutunga called for dialogue between the students and the school’s administration as he said that it was “highly undermining the institution’s status’’.

The unrest has seen students not attending classes and saw the school to be closed indefinitely.
