Miss Environment Kenya Association (MEKA) was established in 2013 under the name Kenya Universities for Environment Volunteers (KUEVO), anchored on a central theme of ‘Stop shouting and start acting’.
The mission is to be a global leading Association promoting environmental awareness and sustainability amongst young people through talents and green innovation in Africa. The theme this year is:
“Go Wild For Life”
The youth have great potential in creativity that can assist in addressing the issues of environmental degradation. The project aims at creating a hub where youths can express their knowledge freely and be involved in environmental sustainability projects.
In the wave of climate change and global warming crisis, the youth and all the communities need education on sustainable living practices that tend to curb the situation at hand. The project will facilitate green projects that facilitate environmental conservation.
The Grand Finale of the Miss Environment Kenya Nationals will be on June 4th 2016 at The Mayfair Hotel.
DON’T MISS OUT!
