#MusicAlert M.I.N Will Get You On Your Feet In Their New Track ‘Tipsy’

I have stumbled upon this video today and we couldnt help but dance when you hear the up beat tune. You may be wondering who this guys are. M.i.N (Made in Nairobi) is a Kenyan boy band, who started in 2011 as a hip-hop crew and later transitioned into an #AfroPop band. The members are Samson David Otieno, Mike Essien Odhiambo and Jeremiah Asunda Musoka.

The group started with JayJay Prince and Davidha who blended hiphop and dancehall music both met while living in the same neighborhood in Doonholm – #Embakasi when they started off. After a while, the pair met Mike Illy who is also an aspiring rapper from the same neighborhood where they would frequently do freestyle on hip-hop beat and try out new styles and recording for fun.

They finally decided to venture into the mainstream music industry when they met a sponsor who was interested in investing in there musical journey. The group M.i.N (Made in Nairobi) Music was born and are currently recording their first album with Herbal Records (MaichBlaq & The Herbalist). Blending afro pop with the Kenyan influence, M.i.N Music’s energetic and danceable rhythm has set aside the group amongst a unique worldwide. They derived there musical influence from L.O.S, Sauti sol, Wiz Kid, Iyanya, Travis Potter, Mafikizolo, P-Unit , Collo.
