It has been a year ever since Nairobi deputy governor, Polycarp Igathe resigned from serving the Nairobi County residents.

Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has been the one taking care and managing the county by himself and while in Mombasa, he confirmed to citizen that he will be naming his new deputy governor today together with his full cabinet.

This comes days after the Nairobi County education CEC rendered her resignation letter citing that she has resigned because of personal interest.

Polycarp Igathe resigned citing failure to earn the trust of his boss back then.

All this comes as there is trouble in the City Hall on why the CEC’s are quitting their jobs and some even getting sacked.

Nairobi county citizens see this as a test of faith and some of them even think that the governor has not been doing his job well ever since he was elected.

Sonko named Miguna Miguna as his possible candidate but the name was rejected in the county assembly.
