No—Shave November is a very popular hashtag on twitter. It is a month-Iong journey during which those participating forgo shaving and grooming in order to create conversation and raise cancer awareness on cancer.
Participants embrace their hair, which many cancer patients lose. The look does not have to be disheveled. The money spent on shaving and grooming is alternatively directed towards donations for education on cancer prevention, help those fighting the battle and save lives.
There are no limitations to this campaign. You can grow out whichever hair on your body you want. Moreover, you can register to participate or support the cause by donating whatever amount on the official No-Shave November page.
