1. Mr and Miss KU Parklands

KU Parklands will be holding their annual pageant this Friday at their campus. It is set to begin at 6 pm with various celebrities like Mejja, Khaligraph Jones gracing the stage to provide entertainment. The event’s host is Jamal Mohamed. The modelling is set to kick off at 8 p.m. Non students will be charged Kshs. 200 as entrance fee and Kshs. 500 is for VIP tickets.

  1. Cake Art Affair- Entrepreneurs affair

Cake art affair is taking place this Saturday, 11th March 2017 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Last year they managed t hold two editions which bring together cake and music lovers, artists, bakers and now entrepreneurs. The organizers of this event have been quite consistent and their themes get their audience engaged and hooked every time. Artists like Meryl Paige, Kapedo, Lady Kahi among others will be performing. Make your way to Arboretum grounds this weekend and have a blast. Tickets cost Kshs. 500 advance and Kshs. 1000 at the gate. If you are looking for a chilled out, interactive, intimate art-filled weekend out, you can visit the Alchemist bar, Westlands for The Lounge IV where a mix of upcoming and established DJs, poets and artists will be performing. Charges are only 300 bob. It starts at 2p.m. till late.

  1. Imarika festival

Imarika is an initiative that seeks to promote creativity amongst the Kenyan youth, be it art, fashion, music or film. It is a social enterprise that intends to link the creative and talented members of the youth in Kenya to the Kenyan audience. This event will be held live at The Elephant where Gachago, Phille, Halisi Band among other artists will be performing.
